👉🏻It’s You, Not The Cross, That Represents The Work Of Jesus On The Cross! CPI-3
It’s You, Not The Cross, That Represents The Work Of Jesus On The Cross! It is not wise to take away without building back that which has been lost. As we walk away from the idolatry of the cross, we must build within us again the desire to express our worship of God. Not only this, but what exactly is supposed to represent God’s work through Jesus upon the earth. Therefore, we must understand this in the context of whom and what Jesus really is. In this, we can better appreciate the devilish work of Satan exchanging the tree of life for dried, dead wood. Jesus and His work is not a cross upon a wall, it is a tree of life given to all who will eat of it through obedient faith. In this study, I hope to walk us away from the idolatry of the cross in our hearts and mind, and arrive upon the solid ground resting under the tree of life that is Jesus. Then we will become living branches sharing His life-giving power to a dying world.

It Is His Children That Represent His Work, Not The Cross
Isaiah 45:19-20 “I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness. I didn’t say to the offspring of Jacob, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I, Yahweh, speak righteousness. I declare things that are right. (20) “Assemble yourselves and come. Draw near together, you who have escaped from the nations. Those have no knowledge who carry the wood of their engraved image, and pray to a god that can’t save.”
Revelation 18:4-6 “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (5) For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. (6) Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.”
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 “Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? (15) What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? (16) What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, “I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” (17) Therefore “‘Come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you. (18) I will be to you a Father. You will be to me sons and daughters,’ says the Lord Almighty.”
Recap From “The Cross Is Pagan Idolatry- Part 1”
The Devils Sinister Deception, Recap From Part 1
As I said previously, “It is also a trick of the devil to get the body of Christ to forsake their privilege and blessing of being the Image of Jesus and His sacrifice, giving this high status over to a piece of dried wood.”
Deuteronomy 4:15-16 “lest you corrupt yourselves, and make yourself a carved image in the form of any figure,.”
Psalms 106:16-20 “They made a calf in Horeb, and worshiped a molten image. (20) Thus they exchanged their glory for an image of a bull that eats grass.”
Jeremiah 2:11 “Has a nation changed its gods, which really are no gods? But my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.”
What we find is that idolatry and idolatry of the cross is actually a sinister trick of the Devil to rob the children of God their glory and power in Christ. To point to dead wood as a symbol of Christ’s sacrifice, and not the people He died for. Christianity defames itself with its idolatry and forsaking their high calling as God’s presence upon the earth.
What Is Supposed To Represent God & Jesus?
It is the Christian that is the only representation God has asked for upon the earth.
The Body of Christ is the image He desires to show Himself to the world. The world must not look at the cross to find Christ. They must look to the Christian representing what He did ON the cross. It is not the instrument that matters, but the sacrifices and perfect life of Jesus.
Jesus Was The Image Of Our Father God As He Walked The Earth.
2 Corinthians 4:4 “the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.”
The Only Image To Be Made Is The Presence Of Christ Jesus In The Persons Heart!
By being represented with a changed life given to love, obedience, and sacrifice.
We Bear His Image Upon The Earth 1 Corinthians 15:49
We Are Being Made Into His Image. Colossians 3:9-10
We Are His Body. 1 Corinthians 12:27
We Are His Temple. 1 Corinthians 3:16
His Temple Is Not Supposed To Use Idols (No Crosses, Etc.)
2 Corinthians 6:15-18 “What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? (16) What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, “I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” (17) Therefore “‘Come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you. (18) I will be to you a Father. You will be to me sons and daughters,’ says the Lord Almighty.”
~ The Test Of Two Trees! ~
Now that we have the recap, we need to go even deeper and build upon this information. To better understand how we have been called to represent Jesus and His Work, not the cross. We need to understand the work better. And unlock some deeper revelation along the way.
Genesis 2:8-9 “Yahweh God planted a garden eastward, in Eden, and there he put the man whom he had formed. (9) Out of the ground Yahweh God made every tree to grow that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food, including the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”
In Our Natural State, We Eat Of The Tree Of Good And Evil Every Day.
Genesis 2:16-17 “Then the LORD God commanded the man, “You may freely eat fruit from every tree of the orchard, (17) but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will surely die.”
Adam And Eve Were Removed So They Could No Longer Eat Of The Tree Of Life.
Genesis 3:22 “And the LORD God said, “Now that the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil, he must not be allowed to stretch out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”
Jesus Hung On A Tree, Being The Tree Of Life
The Test Of The Two Trees Is Still In Effect This Very Day. Jesus and His work is not a cross upon a wall, it is a tree of life given to all who will eat of it through obedient faith. Jesus Is Now The Spiritual Tree Of Life. It is not the wood that matters; it is the fruit of righteousness. This very day we must decide to no longer eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Forsaking our sin nature inherited by Adam, and Eat Of The Spiritual Tree Of Life Found In The Christ Jesus.
May I suggest that it was the symbolic wood of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that Jesus hung upon spiritually? His death upon that tree was actually the victory of The Tree Of Life, over The Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good And Evil. That when we look at the cross and crucifix, these are symbols of sin, rebellion, and its punishment. Yes, Jesus took it for us. Yes, we are called to honor His life and His resurrection. Not just be reminded of our rebellion and the punishment of sin. More so, we are to remember daily the righteous life and example Jesus has given us to walk before our God. Truly the sacrifice would have meant nothing without the resurrection, thus proving the completion and forsaking of ever needing to be eternally punished again for our sin. So, let’s prove that Jesus is The Spiritual Tree Of Life. And this is the sign we bear in our lives as the proof of His work of salvation. Life- Not Symbols Of Death.
John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me.”
The Way
Isaiah 35:8 “A highway will be there, a road, and it will be called The Holy Way. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it will be for those who walk in the Way. Wicked fools will not go there.”
1 Peter 2:21-25 “For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps, (22) who didn’t sin, “neither was deceit found in his mouth.” (23) Who, when he was cursed, didn’t curse back. When he suffered, didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously.
(24) He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed. (25) For you were going astray like sheep; but now have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.”
Isaiah 40:3-5 “The voice of one who calls out, “Prepare the way of Yahweh in the wilderness! Make a level highway in the desert for our God. (4) Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low. The uneven shall be made level, and the rough places a plain. (5) Yahweh’s glory shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it.” See Mark 1:1-4 John The Baptist
The Truth
John 17:17 “Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth.”
John 1:1-4 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
John 8:31-32 “Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. (32) You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
Ephesians 4:20-21 “But you didn’t learn Christ that way; (21) if indeed you heard him, and were taught in him, even as truth is in Jesus:”
--- Transition Verses Truth To Life
Philippians 2:16 “holding up the word of life; that I may have something to boast in the day of Christ, that I didn’t run in vain nor labor in vain.”
John 6:68-69 “Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. (69) We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God”
John 6:62-63 “Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? (63) It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.”
--- Transition Verses Way To Life
Matthew 7:13-14 “Go in through the narrow gate, because the gate is wide and the road is spacious that leads to destruction, and many people are entering by it. (14) How narrow is the gate and how constricted is the road that leads to life, and there aren't many people who find it!"
John 10:9-10 “I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture. (10) The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.”
The Life
John 5:26 “For as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself.”
John 17:3 “This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.”
1 Corinthians 15:45 “So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.”
John 10:28 “I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.”
1 John 5:11-12 “The testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. (12) He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life.”
1 John 1:1-3 “That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we saw, and our hands touched, concerning the Word of life (2) (and the life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us); (3) that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ.”
---- Obey To Retain This Life
James 1:12 “Blessed is a person who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him.”
Matthew 19:16-19 “Just then a man came up to Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what good deed should I do to have eternal life?" (17) Jesus asked him, "Why ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good. If you want to get into that life, you must keep the commandments." (18) The young man asked him, "Which ones?" Jesus said, "'You must not murder, you must not commit adultery, you must not steal, you must not give false testimony, (19) honor your father and mother,' and 'you must love your neighbor as yourself."
John 3:36 “One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”
Tree Of Life Found In The Life Of Jesus
Remember This Declaration
Genesis 3:22 “And the LORD God said, “Now that the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil, he must not be allowed to stretch out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”
We Can Now Return Once More To The Tree Of Life
1 Corinthians 15:22 “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all will be made alive.”
Jesus “The Spiritual Tree Of Life”
Under the Vine And Fig Tree Of Jesus!
Zechariah 3:8-10 “Listen now, Joshua the high priest, both you and your colleagues who are sitting before you, all of you are a symbol that I am about to introduce my servant, the Branch. (9) As for the stone I have set before Joshua – on the one stone there are seven eyes. I am about to engrave an inscription on it,’ says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, ‘to the effect that I will remove the iniquity of this land in a single day. (10) In that day,’ says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, ‘everyone will invite his friend to fellowship under HIS vine and under his fig tree.”
Explanation Of The Stone
Isaiah 28:16 “Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, “Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone of a sure foundation. He who believes shall not act hastily.”
Ephesians 2:20-22 “being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone; (21) in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord; (22) in whom you also are built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.”
Explanation Of The Eyes
Revelation 5:6 “I saw in the middle of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the middle of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.”
Jesus Grew Into The Spiritual Tree Of Life
Luke 2:52 “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”
Isaiah 53:2-5 “For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no good looks or majesty. When we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. (3) He was despised, and rejected by men; a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn’t respect him. (4) Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted. (5) But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.”
John 15:1-3 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. (2) Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. (3) You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.”
To Bear His Image Upon The Earth And Be The Sign Of His Love And Sacrifice, We Must Stay Connected To Him.
John 15:4-6 “Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can’t bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. (5) I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. (6) If a man doesn’t remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”
Philippians 3:9 “and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;”
Proverbs 11:30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. He who is wise wins souls.”
John 1:4 “In him was life, and the life was the light of men.”
Colossians 3:4“When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory.”
We, The Children Of God, Spring Up From The Root Of Jesus: As The True Symbol Of His Redemptive Work.
Isaiah 44:3-4 “For I will pour water on the parched ground and cause streams to flow on the dry land. I will pour my Spirit on your offspring and my blessing on your children. (4) They will sprout up like a tree in the grass, like poplars beside channels of water.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 “My blessing is on those people who trust in me, who put their confidence in me. (8) They will be like a tree planted near a stream whose roots spread out toward the water. It has nothing to fear when the heat comes. Its leaves are always green. It has no need to be concerned in a year of drought. It does not stop bearing fruit.”
Psalms 1:2-3 “but his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night. (3) He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.”
Matthew 3:8-10 “Therefore produce fruit worthy of repentance! (9) Don’t think to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham for our father,’ for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. (10) “Even now the ax lies at the root of the trees. Therefore every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire.”
So, How Then Do We Represent The Sacrifice Of Jesus Upon The Earth, And Remain Connected To The spiritual Tree Of Life?
Luke 6:43-44 “For there is no good tree that produces rotten fruit; nor again a rotten tree that produces good fruit. (44) For each tree is known by its own fruit. For people don’t gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.”
Proverbs 11:30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. He who is wise wins souls.”
Forsake The Cross, Embrace The Spiritual Tree Of Life, Be A Vine growing from the root and spread forth bearing the Fruit Of Righteousness. Here are some introductory ways this must be done:
Bear Much Fruit
John 15:8 “In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.”
Matthew 28:18-20 “Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. (19) Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (20) teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
Bear The Cross
Luke 14:27 “Whoever doesn’t bear his own cross, and come after me, can’t be my disciple.”
We Must Keep And Do His Words
John 8:31-32 “Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. (32) You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”
John 14:23-24 “Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him. (24) He who doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words. The word which you hear isn’t mine, but the Father’s who sent me.”
We Must Obey Him
John 14:15 “If you love me, keep my commandments.”
John 15:10 “If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and remain in his love.”
Love One Another
John 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. (35) By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Be The Salt And Light
Matthew 5:13-16 “You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men. (14) You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden. (15) Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. (16) Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
As The Image Of Jesus And God, We Are Called To Be Peculiar People
Exodus 19:5-6 “And now if you will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to Me above all the nations; for all the earth is Mine. (6) And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak to the sons of Israel.”
Deuteronomy 14:2 “For you are a holy people to Jehovah your God, and Jehovah has chosen you to be a peculiar people to Himself, above all the nations that are on the earth.”
Titus 2:11-14 “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, (12) teaching us that having denied ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live discreetly, righteously and godly, in this present world, (13) looking for the blessed hope, and the appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, (14) who gave Himself for us that He might redeem us from all iniquity and purify to Himself a special people, zealous of good works.”
1 Peter 2:1-10 “Therefore laying aside all malice and all guile and hypocrisies and envyings, and all evil speakings, (2) desire the sincere milk of the Word, as newborn babes, so that you may grow by it; (3) if truly you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. (4) For having been drawn to Him, a living Stone, indeed rejected by men, but elect, precious with God; (5) you also as living stones are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. (6) Therefore also it is contained in the Scripture: "Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner Stone, elect, precious, and he who believes on Him shall never be ashamed." (7) Therefore to you who believe is the honor. But to those who are disobedient, He is the Stone which the builders rejected; this One came to be the Head of the corner, (8) and a Stone-of-stumbling and a Rock-of-offense to those disobeying, who stumble at the Word, to which they also were appointed. (9) But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for possession, so that you might speak of the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; (10) you who then were not a people, but now the people of God, those not pitied then, but now pitied.”
Just Like The Branch, We Must Produce Fruit Like The Vine- Be As He Is.
Matthew 22:36-40 “Master, which is the great commandment in the Law? (37) Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. (38) This is the first and great commandment. (39) And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (40) On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
This Is What Jesus Was Referencing.
Deuteronomy 26:16-19 “Today Jehovah your God has commanded you to do these statutes and judgments. You therefore shall keep and do them with all your heart and with all your soul. (17) You have today said that Jehovah is your God, and that you would walk in His ways, and keep His statutes and His commandments and His judgments, and listen to His voice. (18) And Jehovah has taken you today to be His peculiar people, as He has promised you, and to keep all His commandments, (19) and to make you high above all nations which He has made, in praise and in name and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to Jehovah your God, even as He has spoken.”
1 John 2:4-6 “One who says, “I know him,” and doesn’t keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth isn’t in him. (5) But whoever keeps his word, God’s love has most certainly been perfected in him. This is how we know that we are in him: (6) he who says he remains in him ought himself also to walk just like he walked.”
Then One Day, By Our Faith And Growth From The Spiritual Tree Of Life (Jesus), We Then Will Receive The Literal Tree Of Life Once More. Being Lost Through Adam’s Rebellion, But Received Again Through The Obedience Of The Second Adam- Jesus.
As The Image Of The Spiritual Tree Of Life, We Will Once Again Eat Of The Physical Tree Of Life. Bear His Image By Bearing The Fruit Of His Life In Our Own. He Is The Spiritual Tree Of Life, We Must Also Bud Forth His Life In Our Fruits Of Righteousness.
1 Corinthians 15:45-49 “And so it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul," the last Adam was a life-giving Spirit. (46) But not the spiritual first, but the natural; afterward the spiritual. (47) The first man was out of earth, earthy; the second Man was the Lord from Heaven. (48) Such the earthy man, such also the earthy ones. And such the heavenly Man, such also the heavenly ones. (49) And according as we bore the image of the earthy man, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.”
Since we have been under the Spiritual Tree of Life, and been grown from this tree, being the branches of His righteousness and image. We have now walked in eternal life. Then we will receive the fullness of this promise and become immortal.
1 Corinthians 15:53-55 “For this perishable body must become imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. (54) But when this perishable body will have become imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then what is written will happen: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” (55) “Death, where is your sting? Hades, where is your victory?”
Then the physical tree of life that was taken away from Adam and Eve will be given to us once more. Going full circle in the completion of Physical, Spiritual, Then Physical Again.
Revelation 2:7 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God.”
Revelation 22:1-4 “He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb, (2) in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (3) There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will serve him. (4) They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.”
Revelation 22:14 “Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.”
There Will No Longer Be The Tree Of Knowledge Of Good & Evil
Revelation 21:4+25-27 “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away. + Its gates will in no way be shut by day (for there will be no night there), (26) and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it so that they may enter. (27) There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”
Jesus and God never asked to represent Him or His work with a cross, the people are what represent Him, yet they forsake this living testimony for a graven image that’s not even accurate to the form of the death of Jesus. Much in the same way that God railed that the idols do not have eyes to see or ears to hear, now Christianity is saying the cross represents Jesus and God, not the Body who does have eyes to see and ears to hear, and interacts with humanity to be His hands and feet. Jesus is the spiritual tree of life, He is the life-giving vine, we are His branches declaring His love and life to the world. It is our calling to be His Image, His Body, His Temple, His Light and His Voice upon the earth. So, when the world sees a Christian, they see the work of Jesus, not when they see the idol called a cross. While the work and sacrifice is finished upon the cross. God and Jesus long for life in the hearts of men and women. Let us all be this example of His perfect, life-giving work.

When They See You And Me, Let Them Say That They Can See God And Jesus. Just Like In The Example of Jesus:
John 14:6-14 “Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (7) If you have known me, you will know my Father too. And from now on you do know him and have seen him.” (8) Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be content.” (9) Jesus replied, “Have I been with you for so long, and you have not known me, Philip? The person who has seen me has seen the Father! How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? (10) Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you, I do not speak on my own initiative, but the Father residing in me performs his miraculous deeds. (11) Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me, but if you do not believe me, believe because of the miraculous deeds themselves. (12) I tell you the solemn truth, the person who believes in me will perform the miraculous deeds that I am doing, and will perform greater deeds than these, because I am going to the Father. (13) And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (14) If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.”
The Spiritual Tree Of Life, The Life-Giving Vine Declares It To Be So.
John 17:20-23 “I am not praying only on their behalf, but also on behalf of those who believe in me through their testimony, (21) that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me. (22) The glory you gave to me I have given to them, that they may be one just as we are one – (23) I in them and you in me – that they may be completely one, so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.”
