Exodus 21:22-25  “If men fight and hit a pregnant woman and her child is born prematurely, but there is no serious injury, he will surely be punished in accordance with what the woman’s husband demands of him, and he will pay what the court decides.  (23)  But if there is serious injury, then you will give a life for a life,  (24)  eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,  (25)  burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.”

In this verse, we find that a child is viewed as a life and that the child has legal rights for their protection. That whatever harm was done to the child, God declared the same should happen to the perpetrator. This is so simple and straightforward that it would take giant leaps away from commonsense to say otherwise. God values children as people in and outside of the womb. So, let’s prove it further.     Now We Are To Go And Be Fruitful And Multiply, Spiritually And Physically.

Satan Knows That If They Are Not Physically Allowed To Live, They Cannot Be Reached Spiritually.

    Another Thing To Consider: 

In Exodus 1:8-22, Pharaoh Sought To Kill All The Males And To Throw Them Into The Nile. In Matthew Chapter 2, Herod Sought To Kill The Children To Prevent The Messiah From Being Born. In both cases, God was about to bring a mighty man of God into the World, and the Devil used earthly rulers to enact infanticide to try and prevent the move of God. I believe the exact same thing is happening this very day. 

The Long Term Design Of God

We have to look at the intent and purposes of God to better understand the value of children.  We cannot say that life does not have a reason and purpose, and an achievable goal. In the following, we will prove that conception is just the very starting line of God’s grand plan.

    God Has A Plan For His Children Of Eternal Life.

Titus 1:2 “in hope of eternal life, which God, who can’t lie, promised before time began;”

    God Has Chosen His Children For Life Before Creation.

Revelation 17:8b  “And those dwelling on the earth will marvel, those whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”

    Jesus Agreed To Die For God’s Children Before Creation.

Revelation 13:8b “those whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain, from the foundation of the world.” 

Life Begins At Conception

Once the God design of life starts to take place, the initiation of this process called conception, life has begun.  Just like a seed germinating, it might not be a full grown rose bush yet, but its design potential is just that of a rose bush. So, from germination of the seed of the rose bush, until it blooms roses, it is a rose bush the entire process. But just at different stages of its development. Size and location does not prevent the value of the process of life that has begun and is taking place. The Child is fully human and fully alive at conception.

Psalms 51:5 “Look, I was guilty of sin from birth, a sinner the moment my mother conceived me.”

God Knows His Children From Conception 

In The Womb!

Some say that “from the womb” as in “He knew me from the womb”, actually means “after leaving the womb”. The Following Verses will destroy that idea:

Psalms 139:13-16 “Certainly you made my mind and heart; you wove me together in my mother’s womb.  (14)  I will give you thanks because your deeds are awesome and amazing. You knew me thoroughly;  (15)  my bones were not hidden from you, when I was made in secret and sewed together in the depths of the earth.  (16)  Your eyes saw me when I was inside the womb. All the days ordained for me were recorded in your scroll before one of them came into existence.”

God Takes Credit For Making All Children

It is God’s plan and design that allows life. The God-given recipe of life brings forth the grand design of a child. Even in invetro fertilization, nothing would work without God’s design and plan unfolding. 

Ecclesiastes 11:5 “As you do not know what is the way of the spirit, as how the bones grow in the pregnant woman's womb; even so you do not know the works of God who makes all.”

Job 31:15 “Did not He who made me in the womb make him? And did not One shape us in the womb?”

Job 33:4 “The Spirit of God made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.”

Isaiah 43:6-7 “I will say to the north, ‘Hand them over!’ and to the south, ‘Don’t hold any back!’ Bring my sons from distant lands, and my daughters from the remote regions of the earth,  (7)  everyone who belongs to me, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed – yes, whom I made!”

Matthew 10:30 “But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.”

Now some will say, “What about children with birth defects?”

Galatians 6:7-8 “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also will reap.  (8)  For he sowing to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh. But he sowing to the Spirit will reap life everlasting from the Spirit.”

God Is Building A Temple For Himself When Creating Children

1 Corinthians 3:9 “We are coworkers belonging to God. You are God’s field, God’s building.”

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?  (17)  If someone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, which is what you are.”

It Is God That Brings Forth The Birthing Process

Psalms 71:6 “I have relied on you from the womb. You are he who took me out of my mother’s womb. I will always praise you.”

Galatians 1:15 “But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me through his grace,”

Some might say, what about C -Sections and inducing Labor? Yes, even in these, it is God who is sustaining the Spirit of life in these children. Even if the body of the infant fails, the reason it can be brought back to physical life is because God has not removed the spirit of life from the child.

A Child Is Filled With The Spirit Of Life 

In The Womb

Some try to say that a baby isn’t alive or has the spirit of life until it comes from the womb and breathes air, and that this first breath is the “breath of life.” Then totally forgetting that they are receiving oxygen-rich blood from the umbilical cord. So, to say that it is the first use of their lungs that makes them human is a gross error. 

Job 3:11 “Why didn’t I die from the womb? Why didn’t I give up the spirit when my mother bore me?”

Job 10:18-19 “Why, then, have you brought me out of the womb? I wish I had given up the spirit, and no eye had seen me.  (19)  I should have been as though I had not been. I should have been carried from the womb to the grave.”

A Child Can Also Be Filled With The Holy Spirit In The Womb

Luke 1:15 “for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He must never drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even before his birth.

The Chosen Of God Actually Have Been Called Before Birth By God

Revelation 17:8b  “And those dwelling on the earth will marvel, those whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”

Psalms 22:9-10 “For You are He who took Me out of the womb, causing Me to trust while on My mother's breasts.  (10)  I was cast on You from the womb; You are My God from My mother's belly.”

Jeremiah 1:4-5 “Now Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,  (5)  “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

We See The Life And Spirit Fully Presented In John The Baptist In The Womb.

Luke 1:41-45 “When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.  (42)  She called out with a loud voice, and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!  (43)  Why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?  (44)  For behold, when the voice of your greeting came into my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy!  (45)  Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of the things which have been spoken to her from the Lord!”

Abortion Is Murder

Exodus 20:13 “You shall not murder.”

Strong’s Concordance: H7523 – רָצַח - râtsach - raw-tsakh' (murder)

A primitive root; properly to dash in pieces, that is, kill (a human being), especially to murder: - put to death, kill, (man-) slay (-er), murder (-er).

    Blood For Blood, and notice why!

Genesis 9:4-7 “But flesh with its life, that is, its blood, you shall not eat.  (5)  I will surely require accounting for your life’s blood. At the hand of every animal I will require it. At the hand of man, even at the hand of every man’s brother, I will require the life of man.  (6)  Whoever sheds man’s blood, his blood will be shed by man, for God made man in his own image.  (7)  Be fruitful and multiply. Increase abundantly in the earth, and multiply in it.”

It is fitting that pro abortionists say that it’s just a clump of cells. That in the verse above, God specifically points out the Blood. He says that if a person sheds the blood of another person, their blood is required. That truly destroys the “just a clump of cells” discussion, especially in late term abortions where there is major bloodletting during the act of murder.

Aborted Babies “DIE” in the womb, 

It is called a grave in the Bible.

Jeremiah 20:17 “For he did not kill me before I came from the womb, making my pregnant mother’s womb my grave forever.”

Notice how he clearly says that he was alive in the womb, and that if he would have passed, it would have been death in the womb.

Guidelines For The Life Of The Mother

There are truly life threatening situations, like Ectopic Pregnancies where neither the fertilized egg, not having made it to the uterus, or the mom would survive. In a situation like this, when the egg would not be able to finish the cycle of life, the life of the mom must be preserved. 

Matthew 7:12 “Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.”

Romans 12:9-11 “Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.  (10)  In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor preferring one another;  (11)  not lagging in diligence; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;”

John 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.  (35)  By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

John 15:13 “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.”

Matthew 18:2+10+14 “Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the middle of them, + See that you don’t despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. +  Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.”

Matthew 18:5-6  “Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me,  (6)  but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea.”

    God Hates The Shedding Of Innocent Blood

Proverbs 6:16-19  “There are six things that the LORD hates, even seven things that are an abomination to him:  (17)  haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,  (18)  a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift to run to evil,  (19)  a false witness who pours out lies, and a person who spreads discord among family members.”

    God Expects Us To Help The Helpless

Proverbs 24:11-12 “Deliver those being taken away to death, and hold back those slipping to the slaughter.  (12)  If you say, “But we did not know about this,” won’t the one who evaluates hearts discern it? Won’t the one who guards your life realize and repay each person according to his deeds?”

    God Will Destroy Those Who Reject And Pervert The Truth.

Isaiah 5:20-24  “Beware, those who call evil good and good evil, who turn darkness into light and light into darkness, who turn bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter.  (21)  Beware, those who think they are wise, those who think they possess understanding.  (22)  Beware, those who are champions at drinking, who display great courage when mixing strong drinks.  (23)  They pronounce the guilty innocent for a payoff, they ignore the just cause of the innocent.  (24)  Therefore, as flaming fire devours straw, and dry grass disintegrates in the flames, so their root will rot, and their flower will blow away like dust. For they have rejected the law of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, they have spurned the commands of the Holy One of Israel.”

As we can clearly see, when God starts the process of life, that is exactly what it is- life. A child is a human being from conception and the process of pregnancy brings forth the full potential of that human life. Like we said earlier, when a seed germinates, it is in the process of fulfilling its design potential. As it advances in the process, it is always living. A human being is always alive during the pregnancy and is filled with life. If this were not truth, the pregnancy would end. The potential of full development would not be reached. But it could never be reached without the spirit of life. Abortion is the ending of this life and does not allow the child to reach its full potential. God considers this murder. By definition, it is infanticide and it must never be tolerated within the Body of Christ. And therefore, should be completely outlawed in the world, except in life threatening situations when both parties would die.
