The obedience of faith is the focus of this teaching. This includes briefly how to handle those who refuse to obey God, proving their love for Jesus by their obedience. The reason this is such a big focal point in scripture and in this teaching is very simple. After the fall of Adam and Eve, humanity’s natural state is sin based. Our flesh compels us to compete against the spirit of God. We are inclined from birth to war against those things God values.
