From the time of Abraham onward, the idea of giving a portion of your wealth to God has been around. The concept is simple: recognize that God provides all you have, and then respond to this provision by giving a portion back. This simple plan of action was expanded when God started the Priesthood. Then finally, it graduated from a 10% tithe with offerings, to everything belonging to God in the New Testament. This is how God’s economy works. The economy of God activates for the spreading of the Gospel message. This is how the ministers of the Gospel have been directed to receive the needed income to focus on spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. For those who willingly and joyfully partner with God in His economy will receive the richness and fullness of His provision. Those who decide not to take advantage of God’s Economy, forfeit the available blessings God has waiting for those who do!
